Worlds of Writing

Peter A. Heasley is a priest and professor of scripture who crafts speculative fiction. Born and raised in Detroit, he has worked as a Peace Corps volunteer in Mali and as an architect in New York City, where he currently serves as pastor and chaplain to Columbia University. He writes works of biblical theology for popular and academic audiences. Through his short fiction and novels, praised as “measured and painterly,”* he hopes to open the imagination of those wounded to a greater world of wholeness.
